QPIX are really excited about Gen TV! If you are successful you'll be creating your own series for the new media world (TV, web and mobile)! You will be the key contributors in creating a show from scratch, from show concept, planning, shooting all the way through to promoting the show and managing the show's website. It's hands on industry training. You'll shoot everything and everywhere and you'll be the only Screen and Media course in Brisbane to have exclusive access to shoot in the Channel 7 studios.
This puts you right in the thick of the working TV industry, enabling you to make great industry contacts. The best part about Gen TV is that while you're getting this invaluable experience, you'll also be earning yourself a Diploma in Screen and Media (CUF50107). The high standard of QPIX graduates has been recognised by universities across Queensland, who have agreed to allow graduates of QPIX (based on their portfolio) to jump mid-way into a university degree, if they wish to continue their film training beyond Diploma level.
